Where is the conference?

The 2025 EPIC Conference is on Friday, 14 March 2025 at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal Pacific

What is included in the registration fee?

The registration fee includes all access to conference sessions, exhibitor display, social networking function, meals and refreshments for the day.

How do I register for the event?

To register, simply click the Registration button on the top right of your screen. For mobile, the Registration button is located on the top right drop down. Please check the criteria of attendance before registering.

To attend the EPIC conference, you must meet the below specified criteria

You must be an AAC Member AND meet the below criteria to be eligible to register.

1.  Current AAC member (or join today)

2.  PLUS you must fit in ONE of the following categories:

  • Under 35 years of age OR
  • Building Inspector/ Building Surveyor - restricted (Class 1 & 10s) or not yet registered  OR
  • Less than two (2) years total time registered as a 
    • Building Surveyor restricted (all Classes of Building)  
    • Building Surveyor unrestricted 

Note: If you fail to meet the above, your registration will be cancelled and refunded, or you won't receive CPD points if you slip through. 

I'm not a member of the AAC, can I still attend? 

The EPIC Conference is exclusive to the AAC members. Simply click here to join today.

Can I attend a specific session?

Yes, you can, however we recommend you attend all sessions to get the latest industry updates and receive your full CPD points.

Will the conference be recorded or streamed live?

No, the conference won’t be recorded or streamed live.

Is this a hybrid conference?

No, in-person only

I can no longer attend, how do I cancel and get a refund?

Here is the Conference cancellation details

  • All cancellations are to be in writing hello@aacertifiers.com.au
  • Full amount will be refunded when registration is cancelled up to seven (7) working days prior to conference
  • If no cancellation notice is received or cancellation is made less than seven (7) working days prior to conference, no refund will be provided without a doctor's certificate
  • Transfer or substitution of registration is accepted however charges may apply (contact AAC office for details)

I may arrive late or leave early, will I still get the full 6.5 CPD points?

We encourage you to include the Conference date in your diary to ensure a full day attendance.  However, we understand an emergency can happen. Please email conference@aacertifiers.com.au to inform us of your situation at your earliest convenience.

When do I get my CPD Certificate?

Your certificate of attendance will be issued within 10 working days post event. Certificate will not be issued unless registration fee is paid.

I have special dietary requirements, who can I contact?

Please send an email to conference@aacertifiers.com.au with your dietary requirements

Do I need to attend the Social Networking function?

No, you don’t but we encourage you to stay to network with your peers and celebrate those who will receive an award on the night.

Where can I park?

Located underneath the hotel, guests are able to access the secure carpark at anytime. The carpark has direct access to the guest floors with room key security. The parking garage has a height restriction of 1.9m. 

A discounted rate of $25 is available for all delegates during the conference. To book, pre-register and pre-pay using the link below prior to departing the car park.

If you fail to pre register, you will be charged at the full rate $55 per car/day. AAC will not be responsible for delegate parking fees or relatable issues. 

How do I download the conference app?

The app will be available to download one week before the event. We will send you an email with details.
